Greg Brockman's own private diary is now Exhibit A in federal court. It says OpenAI's founders were NOT honest with Elon Musk.

Musk is suing for $134 billion but renouncing every dollar of personal recovery; if he wins, the money goes to OpenAI's nonprofit foundation. He contributed $44 million to build that organization in 2015 on one explicit promise: that OpenAI would never become a for-profit company. The company is now worth $852 BILLION and targeting a $1 TRILLION IPO, and Musk wants the court to reverse the conversion, remove Sam Altman, and block the offering entirely. Brockman wrote in his 2017 diary that Musk's version of the founding negotiations would correctly show the founders were NOT honest with him.
